Nachum welcomed Susan Rosenbluth, Editor-in-Chief at TheJewishVoiceAndOpinion.com, to this morning’s JM in the AM to discuss the story behind Judith Rosenbluth’s involvement with the Moldova Matters @ Frisch Breakfast Club at The Frisch School. From Chaya Abelsky: “Last year, Judith Rosenbluth (Susan Rosenbluth’s granddaughter), a high school student at The Frisch School set up the Moldova Matters @ Frisch Breakfast Club for the Frisch students to be international pen pals with Moldovan teens who were just beginning to learn about Judaism. Students on both sides of the ocean really enjoyed learning about each other’s cultures, and, under Judith’s direction, the Frisch kids prepared a few video presentations about what Judaism meant to them to share with the Moldovan teens, and the pinnacle was when the Moldovan kids met one night to watch the Frisch Shirya. Afterwards, they told the Frisch kids that they were so inspired to see hundreds of kids so excited about Judaism that it was used as a recruiting tool for the Moldovan club to get even more kids to become members…”
